Q: What types of memberships are available?
Edgewood Country Club offers many membership categories that aim to fulfill the needs of our members in terms of social and golfing priviledges. We offer golf memberships in the categoires of Resident Membership, Intermediate Membership, Family Membership and Junior Membership. Social memberships are offered as Social Limited-Golf Members and Social Non-Golf Members.
Q: What is the dress code?
Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket while in the upstairs Dining Rooms (Including the Ballroom, Fireside, Reflections and Living Room). Ladies attire should be in accordance with good taste. Dress style denim is permitted in the Donald Ross Grille. Otherwise, wearing tee shirts and all sports clothing other than acceptable golf attire is not perimtted in any of Edgewood Country Club's dining areas.
Q: Can my family/guests use the club?
Yes, the immediate family of a member is entitled to the use of club facilities. Immediate family members include spouses and children under the age of 24. Additional guests are welcome to dine and attend special events with members under the member's reservation. When dining in the Donald Ross Grille, guests may pay their bill with a credit card. No cash is accepted.
Q: Are there food and beverage minimums?
Yes, there are monthly food and beverage minimums that vary based on membership classifications. A minimum can be deferred to later month if a member is expected to be out of town. Alcohol and special event dining is included in monthly minimums. There are no minimums for the month of January while the Club is closed.
Q: How do I pay my monthly statement?
You have a few options. The first is to mail or deliver a check to the Club. Cash can be paid when vistiting the finance office during business hours. Credit cards can be kept on file to automatically charge on the 10th of the month for a 0% of monthly balance fee. A credit card can also be charged after the 10th of the month for a 3% of monthly balance fee.
Q: Is the Club open 7 days a week year round?
Edgewood Country Club is open to members Tuesday-Sunday during the months of April through December. The Clubhouse itself is closed on Mondays, however the swimming pool and golf course are open. The Club is closed to members during the month of January while off-season cleaning and capital improvements are being completed. The tennis facilities are open everyday year round.
Q: What are the dining hours at The Donald Ross Grille?
The DRG is open Tuesday-Sunday April through December and Wednesday-Saturday in February and March. The DRG is open 11am-8pm Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and 11am-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Donald Ross Grille hours of operation are published in the monthly ECCO newsletter. When dining at the Club, reservations are required.
Q: Does the Club allow use of its facilities for non-member events?
Yes, the upstairs banquet facilities can be rented out for non-member events such as weddings, corportate functions, and holiday parties by non-members. However, the banquet kitchen and staff operate separately from the downstairs club dining kitchen and staff and therefore does not directly effect The Donald Ross Grille or other membership areas.
