Pete is entering his 17th year as Head Golf Professional at Edgewood and has been a PGA member since 2003. He comes from a golfing family where his father is a PGA Master Professional and member of the Philadelphia Section PGA Hall of Fame. His uncle is also a PGA Master Professional and his cousin is the CEO of one of the largest Golf management companies in the country.
Pete’s previous experience has come from well-respected facilities such as Baltusrol Golf Club, Plainfield Country Club, The Loxahatchee Club, and Blue Ridge Country Club. Pete also taught at the Simon Holmes academy for two winters.
From a playing standpoint, Pete qualified for the 2004, 2008, 2010, and 2013 National Club Professional Championship. He also won the 2018 Pro-Pro Championship and the 2018 Head Pro-Assistant Pro Championship. Adding on to those playing achievements, Pete held the course record at Edgewood (63) for over 10 years until it was recently broken. He still holds the course record at Green Oaks Country Club (63), and West Shore Country Club (65) in Harrisburg.
Pete was awarded the 2013 Tri State PGA Merchandiser of the Year Award for Private Clubs and the 2019 Bill Strausbaugh Award for Mentoring. Pete and his wife Julie, along with their daughter Lena and son John, currently reside in Irwin.
